More Sanusi Lamidos are needed

The American Peoples Encyclopedia reveals to us that the conditions for a revolution are as follows:"a parasitic ruling class clinging to privilege but dodging responsibility,a rising social class energetic and ambitious but exploited and without political powers,a government hated and despised, obeyed from fear and not from loyalty."
In the course of this presentation,we shall look at these conditions which are prevalent in our country with a view to relating them to the face off between the federal government and Malam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi and by extension the Nigerian society.
Definitely, it is not for the sake of cheap popularity that Sanusi Lamido continuously raises serious alarms on the persisting financial recklessness and resource plundering bedeviling Nigeria. Each time he unravels financial scandals which are often backed by impunity due to political will bankruptcy on the part of the authorities,i try to digest the communicative power of the quoted revolutionary heritage. The more i venture on this, the more my mind is rest assured that millions of energetic and ambitious youths are massively exploited and denied political powers.Talking in revolutionary terms, the alledged unremitted 3.5 trilion naira accrued from oil sales means further exploitation of the rising social class.
The ruling class must construct a meaning from this looting debacle. The more i soberly reflect on this mad looting, the more i comprehend the colossal havoc of the parasitic ruling class which is obsessed by the hard will to perpetuate power against all odds albeit its performance may be at the lowest ebb and simultaneously dodges responsibility. It is indeed a dodged responsibility for the government to shy away from the moral obligation of unmasking the architects of this national tragedy.
Sanusi should not be made to bear the consequences of raising this messianic alarm. It is an alarm to be blessed and not cursed by the government. Probably, it may possess a skeleton in the board. Suspending Lamido will not turn him into a state of casualty. The real casualties are the members of the rising social class. One can imagine how this huge fund can transform their exploited living and revamp their political powers. Failure on the part of the government to address this economic crime to its logical conclusion means consolidating the revolutionary condition of dodging a very tasking and moral responsibility.
What is fascinating about the controversial Sanusi's character is its originality in all its ramifications. It is very intrepid, resolute, determined and resilient in the wake of the most herculean challenges and difficulties. The other time, he gallantly launched a war against the economic onslaught by our law makers whom, Sanusi allegedly, consumed 25 percent of our budgetary allocation. Instantly, he rose to national consciousness. In absolute fury, the Parliamentarians wondered how Lamido would dare them.
Sanusi's tenure as the CBN Governor was laden with fruitful and extra ordinary adventures culminating into a mini revolution.T his might not be unconnected with his orderly radical disposition augmented by his sophisticated and spontaneous intellectual capacity. His celebrated and indelible 'ethical cleansing' of the banking industry saw his resounding victory and endeared him to many progressive elements.Sanusi has scored a very remarkable point. He has set the pace for others to emulate in the sprit of jingoism.Nigeria is completely defenceless as it is indiscriminately raped from all angles. Its name is acquaring increased bad image. The future of the rising social class with its enormous energy and ambition is increasingly jeoperdised by the combined forces of the prophets of doom, disciples of lootocracy and agents of under development.
This undesirable trend calls for the dawn of more Sanusi Lamidos, the Lamidos who will call a spade a spade no matter the consequences. The country is not yearning for those who will call a spade a sword. Nigeria deserves numerous Sanusi Lamidos from across the ethnic and religious diversity to raise the banner of justice.Nigeria is pleading with them to rise up and tell the world that the country has come of age and it is ceased to be under the bondage of corruption. They have to arise and release the social class from the shackles of exploitation and challenge the parasitic ruling class of its gross inadequacies.
The voice against looting and impunity should be lifted to travel far.Its echo must be made to transform into a vibrant and formidable movement possessing the strength to compel the government fulfill its pledged responsibility of safeguarding the integrity of Nigeria.
Sanusi's suspension raises a crucial question. Why did the government deploy the EFCC machinery to intimidate political opponents while this gigantic economic crime is dodged?
